The current challenge at The Funkie Junkie Boutique Blog is 'Industrial Grunge'. This was quite timely since my youngest has a birthday this week, and I really enjoy gears and such for masculine cards.
I used the Foundry 3-D embossing folder for the background, adding Black Soot Distress Paint to the embossed silver metallic paper. I layered papers from the Ciao Bella 'Modern Times' 6x6 paper pad, and then stamped the heart gears from Technique Tuesday 'Love Makes the World Go Round'. I then added a library bookplate, some gears, and some silver number tiles.
Now THIS is a VERY COOL card for a 31 yr old Son!!! I have 2 ages 33 & 30 & gears are always a spot-on match for mine also! The TH Foundry Folder makes it so easy to give the ‘guy makes’ such a great background they never believe is actually paper!
ReplyDeleteYour Son is gonna LOVE this very special card. (Happy Birthday to him!!)
