Christmas ATC's

This week's challenge at Simon Says Stamp: Monday Challenge is to make 'ATC's' or Artist Trading Cards, miniature pieces of art at 2 1/2 x 3 1/2.

I loved all the inspiration from the Simon Says Stamp team, especially the Tim Holtz Christmas Paper Dolls, but alas, I only had the regular Tim Holtz Paper Dolls...none looked wintry enough!

Desires of your heart

The Monday Challenge over at Simon Says Stamp this week is 'Birds of a Feather'...to use either a bird or a feather in your project.  I have a niece with a birthday coming up, so I decided to use this bird image from Tim Holtz clear stamp set Urban Grunge. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink Signature Greetings Vol. 3. I stamped Vintage Text by Wendy Vecchi on the base of the card, then layered a die cut piece using Tim Holtz Thinlits and some leaves from the Festive Greens die set.

Thanks for looking!

Christmas Tag #5 2017

I was able to pull out another stamp which I purchased years ago, and oddly enough never used! I really need to do better about using what I have, but the new stuff is so much fun!

The inspiration from week 5 of The Funkie Junkie 2017 Christmas Challenge comes from the Santa image offset on the tag and the postmark.  Again, I used Tim Holtz Festive Greens for the Holly and the Pine Cones.

Well, I'm getting down to the wire for posting these for the challenge, and I was only able to get 6 of them done this year...I am determined to start earlier next year!  We were traveling (Italy and Greece) in October, figured we'd better do it while we can still enjoy, after Hubby's heart surgery this year!

Christmas Tag #4 2017

The little vintage Christmas ad is another little 'freebie' thank you gift for placing an order at The Funkie Junkie Boutique.  And I'm sure you recognize the great little bow from Tim Holtz Festive Greens by now...can you tell how much I like it? The mistletoe die is also from that set.

Anyhow, this is for week 4 of The Funkie Junkie: 2017 Challenge.  Love the silhouettes of the Victorian Carolers that Linda used but alas, I can't order everything I like! This image is from Cricut which I definitely don't use enough! I did enjoy pulling out one of my Tim Holtz Mini Stencils for the faux brick background.

Christmas Tag #1 2017

Well, I have no idea what took me so long to get started with Linda's Christmas challenge this year! Here is the link to Linda's first tag at The Funkie Junkie Blog.  I had so much fun creating the tags for last year, and I was lucky enough to be the randomly chosen winner last year!

My son and his wife asked for an annual Family Zoo Pass this year for Christmas and the color scheme was a perfect match! So I made a little box from heavy cardstock which was a perfect fit!

I took my inspiration from the color scheme and the deer.  I had fun using the new Tim Holtz Festive Greens Thinlits die set (purchased from The Funkie Junkie Boutique.)  I used the bow and pine cones on several of my tags this year!
