Sympathy Bloom

 

This is my second card for the challenge at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge-Beautiful Blooms

My sister-in-law recently lost her father, so I made a card for her and also for her mother. 

 

Spanish Sympathy

 

My sister-in-law is from Columbia, and her mother is very sweet and does not speak English. She recently lost her husband of 69 years, and my husband and I wanted to send her a special card. I speak very little Spanish, and have only one stamp set in Spanish for party invitations, so I looked up translator and printed a sentiment from my computer, 'With our deepest sympathy'. I would normally create a sympathy card with a butterfly or dragonfly, but wasn't sure if either was appropriate for someone from Columbia. I was excited to see the challenge from Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge this week is for 'Beautiful Blooms'.
