Christmas Advent

I made this perpetual advent calendar for my 3 year old and 5 year old grandkids. My daughter-in-law was excited to see it, because the little boxes are large enough for a treat for both of them, and it doesn't have to be a piece of chocolate every day!

I really dug into my Christmas stash for this one! I used a combination of a retired 6 x 6 paper pack by Little Yellow Bicycle, a sheet of 12 x 12 DSP by BoBunny, several stamps by various vendors, some embellishments I've been hoarding for several years, some dies from various vendors and some vintage looking DSP for the sides and back.

I distressed the surrounding chipboard with ink and then applied the strips of dsp to the sides and back of the calendar base.

Anyhow, I was able to get it in the mail so they would have it for December 1st!
