Happy Birthday Lennon
This card is for a 4 year old little boy I just learned about who has cancer.
Lennon's mom Amanda said, "wherever the action is, that's where 3-year-old Lennon will be. Running around outside, playing video games and pretending to be his favorite super hero. He's always laughing, running around giving the nurses a hard time you would never know he was sick." But Lennon is a sick little boy.
Lennon now has multiple tumors on his brain and spine. He will have to begin the fight all over again. Now Lennon's single mother said her only son has a 20-percent chance of survival but they're not giving up.
Amanda said they are taking each day in stride, and even though Lennon's bright-orange hair is gone, his spunk that matches it is still here!! "Lennon's a fighter, so am I. We'll beat it," according to Hunt.
The original post where I found this is http://lalasworldblog.blogspot.com/2010/05/blog-candy-and-way-to-make-sweet-boy.html (sorry, haven't quite figured out how to add a link) and as if any of us need more incentive, she's even offered some blog candy! So sweet, everyone I know loves blog candy of any kind!

His nana over at http://fablady.blogspot.com/, says he loves getting cards and has offered to have the cards sent to her since Lennon will be getting Chemo next week. She wants to make sure he gets them!
Please make a little guy smile and send Lennon a card to:

I looked at www.caringbridge.org/visit/lennonhunt for an update and found that his birthday is June 2...so I grabbed this one to get in the mail quickly. Make as many cards as you like but try to mail them a week apart so he'll continue to get cards a few at a time.c/0 Pages in Time

THC10 - Got Wheels?
Believe it or not, this is the first scrapbook page I've done for my firstborn - and he's 32 years old! Looks like I'd better get busy, lots of catching up to do! He started doing some referee stuff for Salt Lake City Derby Girls and more recently he's actually been skating in a different league. I love a good challenge to get me motivated and when I saw these photos on his Facebook page they just sort of came together!

Calendar & Candy
Cute and Some Contributors Showcase #5
This is a chipboard calendar and nugget tin combination gift for a very sweet friend who I was lucky to work with for a few years and who recently accepted a position working for a different company...good move for her, not so much for me! LOL We miss her! Anyhow I thought she could put this on her new desk. I had lunch with her today which is why I'm so late posting this as she is the one who started me blogging and I didn't want to give it away...thanks Kandi!

Dreams come...
OK, so this is a first for me - a 1 to 10 challenge. I saw it on Kandi's blog, the challenge is from Amy at commit2paper. Anyhow, I was so excited to come up with some ideas that I didn't realize there was a theme to follow - something with 'grow' in it...
I had already put so much effort into it I just had to make it work! The challenge is to use the theme 'grow' and use:
1 photo
2 stamps
3 brads
4 different cardstock
5 different patterned paper
6 staples
7 eyelets
8 buttons (yes 8!)
9 bling
10 inches of string or ribbon
It took a little while to figure out where to put the eyelets, the buttons were easy, they worked out perfectly. I used 9 beads on a stick pin for my bling, hope that counts! Thanks for looking!
