Plume Postale-DYSU?

I love the soft feel of the vintage image Plume Portrait combined with the vintage Carte Postale stamp.

Can you believe it's almost the end of October already?  I've been back from vacation for two weeks now and I am just now getting some crafty time in...you've heard the expression 'getting my sea legs'?  I wonder if that applies to getting your mojo back...'getting my craft legs'?  Maybe not--LOL!  I think I needed a vacation from my vacation...I'd like to take a week off work just to craft...course it would take me that long to get my craft room organized...which would be a good thing as well.  Thanks for following the rambling...

Jumbo Tulip

Here is my first contribution to the Stampendous Fabulous Florals October Challenge.  I used the Cling Jumbo Tulip Set.  Love the background image that comes in the set, I'm sure I'll be using that one often.  I also added a sweet little butterfly from the Charm Collection Set.  First I stamped the butterfly image on some Shrink Plastic and then used an oval punch and then added a small hole before I put it in the oven...then added a jump ring and some embroidery floss to thread it through the card base...and I just love the font on this sentiment from Happy Messages, it looks so handwritten, but better!

Here's a close up of the butterfly, I didn't realize till I looked at the close up that I forgot to remove the little knot from the twine...LOL ooops!  My new daughter-in-law really liked this stamp when she saw it, maybe I'll make her a Gift Set with a floral theme.

Seems like I've been so busy at work lately that when I get home I don't even have the time or the energy to play in my craft room, or I'll make a really quick card to give to someone and don't even take the time to photograph it...really miss it...and next week we get to visit the Oregon Coast again...I love it there!  When I get back I need to make time to play more! 

Mr. & Mrs.- Medallion

I received this great medallion stamp from a Stampendous Blog Hop just in time to make this card for a wedding last week.  I like to use the colors from the wedding announcement when I have time.  The Mr. & Mrs. stamp is from Stampendous also and it was the perfect stamp for this one...

Simple but elegant, don't you think?

Paris in the Spring time...

I started this card for a challenge at CR84FN but ran out of time to post for this color challenge to use Grape, Blue, and Green:

But I also wanted to share this new Stampendous I Love Paris stamp which I was lucky enough to receive as a Blog Candy Bonus!  Pretty cool, huh?  And did I say Bonus?  Yes, there was more...I have another card to post later with another stamp I received from the Blog Hop...and I might as well enter this for the August Challenge-Focus on Sentiments over at the Stampendous Blog.

Sentimental...and a Sketch

This card is for two challenges also...I was really excited to finally use this new sentiment stamp from Stampendous for the Sentimental Journey August Challenge to use a sentiment as the focus on your card.  I bought this little sea horse charm in silver and colored it with Copics so it would match the brad in the burlap flower a little better...I think it looks a little more realistic in brown than it did in silver.

This one took on a mind of its own...totally not the color or patterns that started out in my head...LOL!

Painted Flower Birthday

I worked on a couple of challenges this weekend, this one is for Mojo Monday 253 Contest:

and for Simon Says Stamp and Show: Challenge Paint:

  I used some Tim Holtz Crackled Paint in white and then sponged on some Antique Linen Distress Ink, and also painted a little on the punched text flower. (pages torn from an old Almanac)
