Hello Handsome

This one is for my (almost) 4 year old grandson. I've been using these Treat Cups from Stampin'Up for the past several cards I've made for him, looks like I've started something and will need to buy more if they're even available still. I added a kite tail for the string to the 'balloon', from Hero Arts Operation Write Home, Right at Home; The Hello Handsome is from Hero Arts Operation Write Home, Year Round Sentiment.  The cute little dog is of course from Tim Holtz Mini Cats and Dogs.

Of course, this one had to be an easel card to match his sister's...a little trickier providing access to the treat! The hugs + kisses is from Hero Arts Operation Write Home, Year Round Sentiment, and the Happy Valentine's Day is from an old Stampin'Up set, Holidays and Wishes.

This is my second card for Simon Says: Cute

Valentine Twinkle

This is for my sweet little one year old granddaughter...all kids like getting mail, so I try to make a card for her and her brother when I get the chance.  I think her first word was 'dog' so I ordered the cute Tim Holtz - Mini Cats and Dogs by Stampers Anonymous, and I love it! The Twinkle Twinkle is by Unity Stamp Company and I bought it before I even had any grandkids but have never used it till now!  I wish I had more of this cute DSP, it came out of  Heritage Scrapbook Pages by Hot Off The Press from way, way back!

I'm on an Easel Card kick, I know my daughter-in-law will want to display their cards for a few days!

The tag die is from Spellbinders-Ribbon Tag Trio Two, the sentiment is from an old Stampin'Up set, Holidays and Wishes.

I thought this was good for the challenge at Simon Says: Cute

Valentine

I like making panels for my Tim Holtz Flip Frame, but at 3 1/4 x 5" the work surface is a little bit limited.  I've had this cute little Valentine image from 7Gypsies for a long time and finally found a perfect home for it!

I started with a large manila tag, cut to size to fit the frame. Then I used my new background stamp by Wendy Vecchi, Vintage Text, inked it with Ranger DI Barn Door, added a heart shaped doily, also inked with Barn Door and Vintage Photo, stamped the number panel from Tim Holtz Lifes Possibilites, edged with Black Soot Distress Crayon, and the 7Gypsies image matted with black cardstock. I added some seam binding ribbon and a couple of charms, and done!

Now to make a couple of quick cards for the two grandkids...they are one and four so I'll keep it pretty simple!

All fun and games...

"It's all fun and games until someone ends up in a cone".  I wanted to make a couple cards for the staff at the hospital for hubby's recent stay, so when the challenge this week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog involved Pets, my new Tim Holtz Mini Crazy Cats and Dogs set immediately came to mind.  I also used a set from Skipping Stones Design-Dogs Volume 1 for the dog in the cone and the sentiment on the tag below.  The metal tag is from Tim Holtz Philosophy Tags. For the background, I used the Tim Holtz Mini Stencil (Brick) and some Texture Paste and then inked it with Walnut Distress Ink.

The tag is from Spellbinders Ribbon Tag Trio Two, popped up with foam tape to serve as a 'catch' for the easel portion. The sentiment 'You make a difference' is also from Skipping Stones Design-Cancer Schmancer.

I made an easel card for my friend's birthday last week and decided it would work well for this also.
