iPod Birthday
This is a card I made for my son's 19th birthday last week. All supplies were Stampin' Up. I got the inspiration from a cute card on Splitcoast (couldn't find the link, I'll add it later if I can). I was excited to finally use my 'Build a Brad' set for the earbuds. I decided to enter this in the Showcase for Cute and Some by Audrey Frelx at http://cuteandsome.blogspot.com - you should stop on over to see her site...no specific challenges, just a showcase for your creations once a week.

April in Kaua'i
Cricutters Anonymous #33 - April Showers
Cartridges Used: Doodletype, Storybook
"April in Kaua'i is wet wet wet". Kaua'i is the wettest island but we weren't prepared for how much it rained in April - you'd be out on the beach and it would just start raining buckets out of nowhere. This is a horseback riding excursion (you can see all the mud) and you'd put on your slicker and take off your slicker and put it right back on again (more of a plantation setting than a beach setting, but we did get to swim at a nice little waterfall). The colors are a little difficult to see, they are Kiwi Kiss and Elegant Eggplant with some DSP that I've had so long I can't remember where it came from!
Thanks for looking and for your comments ~

Getting Old-Thongs
Thought this set fit perfectly for this week's sketch for Skipping Stones Design, SSD #018. They have the cutest sayings don't you think?
Amethyst Of The Earth
SPCC Challenge #41 - Soft Suede, Pumpkin Pie, Almost Amethyst
I was really excited to find that this mulberry type scrap from an old wedding invitation matched the Almost Amethyst cardstock from SU perfectly - then when I uploaded the photo you can barely see that either one of them are even amethyst! I think part of it might be my laptop...I think I need to hook it up to my monitor. If not, I'm going to have to practice my photography skills I guess...oh well, this is the first time I've used my new Stampin' Up Hostess Set, Of the Earth, I think I'll be using it again soon.

Sassy Snow
Here in Utah we've been shamelessly teased with pretty spring days for several weeks now and everyone is making cute spring projects and cards and layouts, and flowers are starting to peek their cute little heads up - and now it's been snowing for two days...go figure! But that's ok, because I've been dying to play with my Sassy Snow set from Skipping Stones Design and I had almost resigned myself to wait until next winter to pull it out when 'ah ha' now I'm in the mood! And of course the weekly sketch challenge wasn't quite right for this set so I peeked back a couple of weeks for this great sketch, SSD015 - what do you think of cute little Sassy Snow?
