Youngest son wants to go to Japan, and tomorrow is his birthday, so I wanted to make him a card incorporating a travel theme.

I used an embossing folder on some foiled paper and rubbed in some black distress paint to give it some definition.

Cutting it down to the wire for the challenge at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.  'Don't be fooled, be foiled'.

  1. This is a really gorgeous card and I love how you personalized it for your son. I thought your technique of rubbing the black distress paint into the image was especially clever! I hope your son loves this card-- I know I do-- and I'm so thankful that you shared it with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!

  3. What a great card for your wanderlust son! Love your aging technique on the metallic paper! How clever and effective! I hope your son gets his dream! My daughter leaves for Italy next week, and I don't know who's more nervous, her or me! Hugs!
