Birthday Sketch #1

This is the first of two birthday cards I made for co-workers over the weekend...this was the easier of the two because I know she likes horses and mustard yellow!  I based them both on this cute sketch from Simon Says...Use Heather's Sketch

The horse image is from Stampendous - Da Vinci Horse...love the Steampunk feel!   I'm pretty sure she will like this one!

Birthday Sketch

I had two birthday cards to make for co-workers and used this cute sketch from Simon Says...Use Heather's Sketch for both of them...

Of course I like to give them a bit of a personal touch, but the only thing I knew was that she like's purple!  Hope she likes this card.

Another Steampunk Birthday

My oldest son is a Steampunk kind of a guy...I hope he likes this birthday card as well as he liked the Steampunk Cat from last year!  He  also loves cats, but last summer we bought a solar powered owl to keep the pigeons off our deck, and when he saw it he said he just might need one for his garden...hopefully he'll remember.

November Thanks

This card is for the Infusion office I've been going to every day for the past 6 weeks for IV Antibiotics.  Everyone there has been so extremely nice and accomodating I wanted to make them a Thank You card...since my last day is next Tuesday, I called it 'november thanks' and geared it around the sketch challenge at Mojo Monday 318.
I was also inspired by the November Challenge at Graphic 45 Facebook Page to make a Thank You card using Graphic 45 product.  The theme of my card had me reaching for an older product called Botanicabella, and I also used some Graphic 45 themed Core'dinations product for the base.

Thanks for stopping by!

Carte Postale Sympathy

This is a sympathy card for my sister-in-law from the Philippines who just lost her brother and a sister within a week of each other...she won't be back in the States until Thanksgiving.  Since she is so far away, I used the postal theme from this week's challenge at Papercraft Star #168 for inspiration.
