All about citrus...let's get fruity!

A couple of summer themed challenges...'July is All About Citrus' over at Stampendous, and also 'Let's Get Fruity' over at Simon Says Stamp Challenge.  I told a friend at work I would make a card for her sister's birthday and she likes Margaritas so the lime fit in perfectly with the citrus fruit theme!  I used a little of the Stampendous Embossing Enamel (without embossing it) for the salt on the rim of the glass.

Here's the whole card...

The sentiment came out a little blurry (looks like I've had a couple of those Margaritas!) but I wanted you to see the cute little plastic button and the mesh ribbon I picked up last week at the local craft store.  I used  a border punch on the striped paper on the lower edge, a little hard to see.  I love little paper doilies, but I have a hard time fitting them in with some of the cards as they go together...

I do love the sentiments with Skipping Stones Design-Margarita Birthday.

It's one of the first sets I bought...have a fruity summer!
